The Executive Board
The Executive Board shall consist of all officers named and/or elected to the positions listed and described below.

President
The President shall be the official representative of the Velo Allegro Cycling Club. He shall speak for the club members on all matters. He shall be responsible for all executive and administrative duties of the club except those specified elsewhere in these definitions. He may delegate any of the responsibilities as he sees fit. He shall aspire to be a positive role model and influence on all members of the club and the community outside the club.

Vice President
The Vice President shall stand in place of the President should the President be unable orunavailable to perform his duties. The Vice President shall have duties as delegated by the President, one of which has historically been working in concert with the race director on the annual club race.

Secretary
The secretary shall maintain the records of the Velo Allegro Cycling club. The secretary shall also keep the minutes of all monthly club meetings and submit them to the newsletter editor for recording in the monthly newsletter. The secretary shall also keep minutes of any executive board meeting as well. The secretary shall stand in place of the President or Vice President, should they not be available.

Treasurer
The Treasurer shall maintain the finances and financial records for Velo Allegro Cycling Club. TheTreasurer shall make the most current financial status of the club available to the club membership at the monthly club meeting. The Treasurer shall stand in place of the President, Vice President and Secretary, should they not be available.

Special Executive Officer
This officer shall sit on the Executive Board of the Velo Allegro Cycling Club and is entitled to one vote on all matters before said board. The Special Executive Officer shall stand in place of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, should they not be available. Historically this position has been filled by the previous year’s President, or the next highest officer that is available.
