| 08/14/08 - Velo Allegro will be having its annual San Diego weekend ride on August 23rd and 24th. We will leave the marina at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and return at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday. The tempo will comfortable for everyone and no one will get dropped. We encourage as many participants as possible as it is a lot of fun.
Meals
Costs (lunch during the rides down and back and dinner Saturday night at an Old Town restaurant) will be covered by the club.
Accommodations
10 rooms have been booked for one night, Saturday August 23rd, at the Western Inn in beautiful Old Town San Diego. The rates are as follows:
- $109.00 + tax (10.5%) for a one bed King room
- $119.00 + tax for a two bed Queen room.
Room rates include continental breakfast (6am -9am) and laundry facility. No pool or Jacuzzi.
If you are interested in reserving a room, please contact Frank Said by phone or email as soon as possible. If only two bed rooms are available, you may be asked to share the room with another rider (of the same gender).
72-hour cancellation notice is required . Should you reserve a room but cancel without providing 72-hour notice, you will be responsible for any costs incurred by the club. |
