VELO ALLEGRO RACE REIMBURSEMENT POLICY - 2002
The 2002 Velo Allegro race reimbursement program is designed to help all categories of racers representing Velo Allegro. It is designed to reimburse both the consistent racer and casual racers who actively participate in club meetings and events. The program is intended for USCF licensed racers in all USCF categories.
For members that qualify:
- Entry fees will be reimbursed for Velo Allegro Selected Races. These races are announced monthly at club meetings and posted on the MAIN page of this website.
- Entry fees will be reimbursed for all National and State Championships (RR, TT, Criterium)
- The program will pay for finishes 1 through 6 in non-VA selected USCF races
- The maximum single day reimbursement is $25*. Payment is for the first race. Late fees are not included in reimbursements.
- It is the racers responsibility to turn in a complete list of races, dates, category raced, finishing place and entry fee totals prior to the monthly club meeting to Melanie Ochoa. Incomplete forms will not be considered for reimbursement.
*It is the clubs intention to reimburse in the amount stated. However, depending on the financial status of the club, the actual reimbursement amount could vary.
To qualify for this program, a member must work the club UPS Criterium AND accumulate 15 points. Once a member qualifies, race reimbursement is retroactive for the full calendar year. Points are accumulated as follows:
- 2 points for attending a monthly club meeting
- 1 point for racing at, or supporting club racers at a VA selected race
- 1 point for supporting a club sponsored community service event
Reimbursement points are dependent on signing in when supporting races, working events and attending club meetings. No sign in means no points. Every club member must sign himself or herself in. There will be no exceptions.
