RACE REIMBURSEMENT POLICY - 2001
Following are the revised details of the 2001 Velo Allegro Race Reimbursement Program. Contact Greg Surbeck with questions. All program details subject to change.
1. Members MUST wear a 2001 Velo Allegro Club jersey in the race to qualify.
2. Qualifying Races & Results - Members are eligible for reimbursement for two (2) club sponsored races monthly, February through September. Races will be selected by majority vote at the club meeting prior to each month (e.g. vote at the February meeting for March races). One (1) race will be a criterium and one (1) will be a road race (subject to availability). Races will be published in each months newsletter. Senior and Master State Crit and Road Championships will automatically be one of the reimbursed races. Race reimbursements are guaranteed for State Championships (Jrs/Srs/Master, crit/road/TT).
3. Race reimbursements are also awarded for members who earn USCF race points: Top six (6) places in crit or road races for all categories, top fifteen (15) for stage races (NOT omnium) for Cat. 3 and above.
For club sponsored races, only a members first event of the day will be reimbursed. Subsequent events are generally discounted by the promoter and are not subject to general reimbursement. Members that place in multiple races and/or events in one day (as specified in 2b), will be reimbursed for all events.
4. Race results and requests for reimbursements must be submitted to Greg Surbeck or a club officer via email or written document, and delivered no later than one (1) month following the event to qualify. Reimbursement forms are available for pick-up at the club box at Pollys. Members are responsible for confirming that their requests are received by club officers.
All race reimbursements will be issued at the end of the year.
5. No whining! We dont want to hear at the end of the year about how much $ you did or didnt get.
